Rollinia deliciosa Annona biriba ANNONACEAE

Rollinia deliciosa is a fast-growing Annona from tropical America. It is a medium-sized tree of less than 25 feet in height. The custard-like fruit is eaten fresh and made into juice, ice cream, and puddings.

Rollinia deliciosa can be grown in a wide range of soils, provided its shallow root system is well-drained. It grows well in a slightly acid soil (pH of 5.5- 6.5). Fertilizer should be regular and balanced. The tree should bear fruit about the third year. As the tree grows and develops a good canopy of leaves, the fruit production usually increases.
